Seas and mountains

During the “Seas and mountains” excursion we will accompany you in visiting some characteristic places of Gallura.
It starts from Isola Rossa to reach Baia Vignola: from this beach, fording the Vignola river on foot, you can arrive under the Vignola Tower, in a relatively large cove with very fine sand.
We will then visit Aglientu which is located a few kilometers from the sea. Here the landscape is characterized by imposing boulders and green valleys sloping down towards sandy coasts which alternate with imposing cliffs.
Riding our bikes, we will then reach Aggius a village that houses a characteristic historic center and which is part of the “Authentic Villages of Italy“.
All around the environment is a balanced alternation of granite rocks, centuries-old woods of holm oaks and cork oaks, Mediterranean scrub, pastures and vineyards. It is a panorama to which the changing of the seasons gives variegated aspects and colours, typical and enveloping aromas.
During the “Seas and mountains” excursion we will stay overnight in a farmhouse with dinner and breakfast and during the day we will stop in some refreshment points to taste typical local products.
