The Valle della Luna
The Valle della Luna is a surreal place, frozen in time, which takes its name from the beauty of a wild and solitary landscape so that it recalls a “lunar” landscape.
It is a valley set between granite ridges of imposing boulders, formed in strange and bizarre shapes by the Mistral wind.
The visitor will be able to observe granite mountains, with original shapes, modeled by the wind and the weather and which can now be visited thanks to paths and trails, which allow them to be climbed.
The strange and bizarre shapes of the granite emergencies that characterize it, their diffusion within a large basin enclosed by a crown of granite ridges, which shift with the changing light throughout the day, give it a certain spectacularity and an aspect of strong suggestion that is also unique and singular, which is why it is called the Valle della Luna, moon valley.
