A record monolith

During “a record monolith” excursion we will show you Monti Pulchiana, the largest granite monolith in Sardinia. It represents a unicum on the island both for its size and for the scenery in which it is immersed: a real granite garden, with tafoni, towers and agglomera ons of rocky blocks.
Not for nothing it was declared a Natural Monument by the Sardinia Region in 1994. It is a trekking experience not to be missed for the landscape that can be admired to the top.
The summit of the monolith can only be reached by expert climbers but it is possible for everyone to hike up to the plateau. It is a country path, easily passable without too much effort, with about 100 m in altitude.
Across the “a record monolith” excursion we will let you stay overnight in a farmhouse and/or B&B with dinner and breakfast and along the way there will be refreshment points where you can taste typical Gallura products.
